We're a community that's figured out some things — and still figuring out the rest.
ABOUT US
Epicentre started in Echuca in 2017. We're a church built around the idea that you can explore faith without having everything sorted first.OUR MISSION
“To lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus.”
OUR VISION
“To be a church where the unchurched discover faith.”
A church built for Echuca.
Epicentre Church was planted in 2005 at the Adult Education Centre in Echuca. While we were growing we moved to several different buildings before we settled in an old IGA Supermarket on the East Side of Echcua. In 2017, Robert (along with his wife Sage) Wiltshire, was inducted as the pastor of Epicentre Church. Robert and Sage came with a simple vision: to build a church where people who'd never consider going to church might actually feel at home.
Since then, the community has grown into something genuinely warm — people from different backgrounds, different levels of faith (and doubt), all finding a space where they belong.
We're not a perfect church. But we're a real one. And we'd love for you to be part of it.
OUR STORY
WHAT WE’RE ABOUT
Our values
These aren't aspirational slogans. They're the questions we actually ask ourselves about how we're doing.
01
Building Belonging
Helping people feel accepted, assuming the best of them.
03
Practicing Generosity
Freely giving - my time, talents, and resources - without keeping score?
02
Pursuing Excellence
Never allowing what is good to stand in the way of what could be great?
04
Choosing to Grow
Moving forward toward the person God has called me to be?
The people behind it
Real people who've given their time and energy to building something worth being part of.
THE TEAM
PART OF A WIDER FAMILY
Australian Christian Churches
Epicentre is part of the ACC — a movement of Pentecostal churches across Australia in voluntary relationship. We're connected to a wider family of churches that share our values and heart.
Being Pentecostal means we believe God is active and present today — not just historically. This shapes how we worship and pray, though we hold it openly and welcome people from any tradition.

We've written it in plain English — for sceptics, seekers, and people who've never thought about any of this before.
