Tomorrow's substantial shifts in our lives start with today's small, intentional decisions. Simply choosing to be still and incorporating a simple but practical quiet time can help God cultivate and re-pant the neural pathways in our mind.

What stood out to you in the sermon?
Share a moment when you felt overwhelmed by a situation and your mind went to unexpected or irrational places. What did that experience reveal about what you subconsciously believe?
What does your quiet time currently look like?
How can the Moses command to the Israelite’s of "stand still" apply to our lives today? How does stillness play a role in flipping our mental algorithm?
It was the Egyptian army that was distracting the Israelite’s from stillness. Likewise, what distracts our stillness today? E.g. Social media, News, friends, sleep, etc.?
What challenges do you foresee in making stillness a habit?
Read 1 Thessalonians 5:18. How does gratitude impact our neural pathways and thinking patterns?
How might starting the day with thankfulness help to flip your mental algorithm over time?
What small, intentional steps can you take starting tomorrow to shift your mental algorithm?

5 Minute Miracle Morning.
Start a morning habit of having a quiet time that is just between you and God. While the suggested one doesn’t seem like much. Done consistently it will put you on the right foot of placing you in a position where God will begin to transform your mind.
Take 5 minutes each morning break it up into 1 minute blocks.
1 minute being thankful.
1 minute reading scripture.
1 minute memorizing scripture.
1 minute in prayer.
1 minute in silence (listening to Gods voice).
